Departure boards that match a real sign
DoneDepartures render exactly the way a real bus or train LED sign does, down to the original dot-matrix font, field layout and paging.
Stops along the way
DoneWhere the data exists, notable remaining stops cycle underneath the destination — now for trains and regional buses too.
Long names shorten properly
DoneLong destinations abbreviate the way real signs do: Ústí n.L. hl.n., Kostomlaty p.Mil.,nám.
Much faster boards
DoneDepartures load an order of magnitude faster and the panels appear all at once instead of one by one.
Boards no longer flicker
DoneA refresh rewrites only what actually changed. An unchanged row is left completely alone.
Full visual redesign
DoneEvery page, including a switchable dispatcher mode.
Far more timetable data
DoneNational regional buses and Prague lines were added — roughly three times as many services as before.
In progress 2
Vehicle routes on the map
BuildingLines with several route variants sometimes draw the wrong branch. The fix is written and waiting on a rebuild of the map data.
Dispatcher mode
BuildingRight now it mostly changes colours. It should become a genuine operational view — denser listings and more status detail.
Planned 6
Order may change.
Journey search with transfers
PlannedFrom A to B, when you arrive and how many changes. The largest planned feature; the data it needs has just landed.
Train line instead of category
PlannedSome trains show a category (Os, R) where a passenger expects a line (U5, R15). The line designation is not published directly in open data, so it has to be derived another way.
Stops along the way in Prague
PlannedPrague timetables now load, but use their own stop numbering that still needs matching to ours.
Real sign contents from riders
PlannedA way to submit what the real sign on a given line shows, reviewed before it goes live.
Estimated delay where none is reported
PlannedSome sources give only a position and a line. Delay could be estimated from position and timetable — always clearly marked as an estimate.
Live positions for Teplice city transit
PlannedPositions for Teplice city transit are available but not tracked yet.
Known limitations 2
Things that cannot be fixed on our side.
Four cities missing from the timetables
Jablonec, Kladno, Mariánské Lázně and Plzeň cannot be loaded — the source data is missing stop coordinates for them. Every other city loads fine.
Some destinations are already shortened at source
For some services the timetable gives only a shortened terminus name, so the qualifier that tells similar stops apart is missing.
Something wrong or missing on a board? Reports about a specific stop or line are the most useful kind of feedback.
